flooding?

When I ride my Kriedler everything is good for quite a while and then it bogs down and will only go like 5mph and gas drips out of the carb at the air filter. then if I make it drive without giving more gas it starts to speed up. Is my carb flooding? I haven’t tried to clean it yet. could it be a build up of gunk?
