What you got was some kind of a bushing or spacer. It has nothing to do with the electrical circuit.
My parts book doesn’t show a separate part number for the condenser. It only shows a “coil, complete, ignition”

I suppose that most any 6V condenser could be made to work by unsoldering the old one and soldering in the new one.
