headlight troubles

I have a 77 newport, the headlight was working fine the other day and then tonight I started it up and the headlight wouldn’t work, but the tail light is fine. I cleaned all of the connections, made sure all the wires were connected properly, I check the ground and it was fine. The only verdict that I could come up with is that it isn’t getting power, does anyone have any suggestions as to what it may be? Have I overlooked something??
