tighten it as tight as it will go without pulling the clutch. just keep tinkering till you can start it easily and the starter clutch FULLY releases when you let go of the lever…that starter clutch on the V1 sucks (atleast ours does). it slips bad sometimes unless we pedal start. im thinking about maybe giving it a stiffer spring or something, someway to make it grab harder to start easier. i dunno.
