Re: Minarelli Starting Clutch

When you say that you have the cable all the way tight, what do you mean?

Is the adjuster screw all the way out?

Try this: with the adjuster screw about half way out loosen the cable clamping screw. While pulling on the end of the cable turn the clutch arm as far as you can then tighten the cable clamp. You might have to have a buddy help you on this as it takes three hands.

Then try turning the pedals without pulling on the clutch lever. If the engine wants to crank, loosen the adjustment until it doesnt want to crank anymore.

Then pull in the clutch lever to see if you get full starting clutch engagement.

Some re-adjustment might be necessary.
