Going back a few steps…after you installed the drive-roller assembly, there was the thin shim washer and the first 21 mm nut that went onto the crankshaft. How much play was there between the bronze bushing of the drive-roller assembly and the thin shim/1st nut? You need about 1 mm of space between the bronze bushing and the shim/nut after the nut is threaded all the way down and tightened using just the socket.
