It should spin freely once everything is back together, especially just the bottom half without the cylinder and piston attached. I.E. if you have the crankcase, crankshaft, drive-roller assembly, clutch and stator together, you should be able to turn the crankshaft by holding the crank-pin with thumb-index+middle fingers and turning it like you’re an organ grinder. The only resistance at that point would be the bearings themselves, which should turn quite freely.
