Minarelli HELP!!

HELP! I have a 1978 Minarelli with 178 miles. It had sat for 27 years in a garage before I got it for $175. I got it running today (thanks to all of you that helped with parts) but it is making a loud grinding type noise. I drives fine, reaches +30mph so is not a ring. Could there be something stuck in the clutch? Other than this it is a beautiful bike, full chrome etc. I really want to finish getting it restored.
