I have attached a diagram of the carburetor. “G” is the tiny passageway between the fuel jet and air horn (venturi) It is called the diffuser and it is very tiny. It is possible to have a clean fuel jet “B” and fuel dribbling from the overflow pipe “C”, and still no fuel to the air horn (venturi) “H” and cylinder if the diffuser “G” is clogged/blocked.
You must remove the air cleaner assembly, look down the air horn “H” while decompressing and pushing the Solex, and make sure that you see a strong spurt/spray of fuel entering the air horn from the diffuser for each revolution of the rotor (flywheel).
For the fuel jet: you must be able to blow into the tiny hole in the threaded end of the jet and have air come out of the two side holes.
