EBR fork mounting question

So I got a set of these forks from Treatland:

Everything mounts up nice and snug to my Magnum, except I don’t have enough thread on top to screw on the top fork nut. Is the outside diameter of the top bearing race to large? I noticed it was sticking out from under the top plate. Do I need a smaller top race or grind away some material or sumptin?
