orphaned Silver Bullet; worth it?

One of my best friends is kind of strange; in fact “kind of strange” completely fails to describe the dude, but anyway…

He won’t drive. He won’t ride a big bike or scooter. He will only use his Tomos Silver Bullet, and no other moped. He’s down with walking everywhere, but he really dug the moped he rode around the countryside illegally when he was 12.

It’s been abandoned for 10 + years at someone’s house. We know where it is, and we are free to go get it.

Any ideas? Worth it? Keep it abandoned? Sell it as a parts machine (he’d use the money to buy scratch-offs, most likely).

He has little or no cash, but the only problem was a rusty frame-tank…then. The gas has been drained, for what little that might be worth.

To top off the mess, the title has long since disappeared.

For that matter, so has the title of another friend’s “Moped II” (!? We still haven’t figured out WTF that is, but I hope to take some photos later this week).
This title issue is common down here in Appalachian-region Ohio.
