I’ve been thinking 30 miles is a good distance for a ride and i came up with what i think is a fun one. It would start with a ride out to Glendale and a run up chevy chase (twisty fun) over to Rosemont and then back Verdugo through Glendale to downtown where we would do a little bridge tour, running across the 1st, 4th, 7th, and 6th street bridges before heading over to bar 107. what do you all think?

Maybe we could have the meeting at 6 instead? That way I can be back at stinkers roun’ 7 which is about the time Jessica will be finishing her set. Hey before people start shouting out ride plans for next week’s ride… I am calling DIBS. We are doing one last beach ride before I move eastward. It will be followed by boozing and marshmallow roasting at my house.
So im guessing Sunday the 21st is gonna be pretty epic. Club 55 ride early in the day THEN Ride out to the beach…. Summer is upon us my friends, dont struggle.
Also, that bike has already been traded to Jeff, as of today. :) He rode it down the block and immediately wanted it. I told you guys you should ride it.
Oh yeah dude, Tigers are goin’. We’re planning on doing the Club 55 ride, hangin’ chill at the BBQ but leaving in time to get to stinkers by 6, play some music, have some beers, rest up a tad, THEN do another ride on Woolly Tiger turf! Aw man, so pumped!

Uh the wheel I haven’t checked out yet, but seemed fine on the ride home. Anyway, I think with a rebent pedal arm and some new pedals, it’ll be cool. The elbow is cool but I didn’t realize how much I landed on my hip. I woke up in the middle of the night like what the fuck? No worse than a skate injury. S’alright.

I was at Stinkers 15 minutes ago. I was going to stay home because I have one more week of working on my moped. Instead I’m opting to go as the “chase van” when I heard we are stopping by hotel Figueroa for a drink. Love that place-so kitschy. I’ll be finally blasting on my moped next week with you guys.

Simo’s are too loud for street use apparently among other things. He also thought I wasn’t supposed to ride in the street. No mirrors either. Stuff like that. Kinda freaked me out when he threatened to send me to a referee. No ticket though…

Usually that would be true Leslie, but I’m leading the ride tonight. It’s up to you guys to hurry. Besides, I’m riding the magnum instead… which is now waaaaayyyy faster with the CDI. It’s like riding a motorcycle. That’s how powerful it feels. I would recommend the Treats/77 CDI to ANYONE with a Puch. Seriously. Amazing stuff.
Does anyone else strip puch engine studs EVERY time they put the head on? never stripped the exhaust studs. But at least one stud strips every time I work on my bike, despite me being super ginger with it. I’m so pissed. I have probably stripped out abour 15 studs in my life no joke.
Yeah this is one of the five things I did/broke last time I pulled apart my za50. One of the reasons that motor is now in my trash corner. Have fun riding tonight. We did the dayshift and are beat.
nice long ride last night, got blasted by max’s magnum AND the blue bully. It hurt so good. Shout outs to all the dudes who came out from thousand oaks. Ill see be seeing you guys soon. Any suggestions for next sundays ride?

I wouldn’t recommend a stock bike, But if possible stock gearing would probably be the best. Good brakes are probably good too, although mine suck and I do it, but I would have alot more fun charging it if I were confident I could stop if I needed, there are some tricky curves. There is one pretty major hill to climb, then it’s smooth sailing and canyon carving after that. Because it would be a far drive for you guys, and a unfamiliar canyon, I think daytime is best, Let me know If you guys wanna come out, or if you guys want a different date or something.
Tracy! Mike and I were just talking about coming out to ride on your side of the world. I think most of the Woolly Bullies will be out at the ranch this weekend. Maybe next Sunday?

Hey stevie, how did that engine turn out? I’ve been curious because of the shimming issues with the DMP. I also think that if it is dragging, I might know why. We probably should have checked if the clutch bell could spin freely on the crank after that makeshift shimmage.
i put then engine back on the bike a few days ago and handed it over to choke for some little things. If everything goes well ill have it back on tuesday. Ill let you know then.
