after sitting in a barn for a long time, its out and back to life. there is a few problems with it, Missing speedometer cable, dent in the gas tank, small crack in the top of the oil tank. The guy i got it from is a major pot head who now rides a bicycle everywhere now. Fun guy to hang it out with, when i was talking to him about the damage the story is that him and his buddy where racing another dude on a old tomos, when his buddy dropped his beer, they loose control and some how hit a tree.
He ended up parking it and he said he ‘totally forgot about it’. I followed him to his house and help him get it out. He was really cool and sold it to me.
I took it all apart, the piston and cylinder look amazing. Cleaned up the carb and replaced the air filter. Only thing i had to buy was a new plug and the bike runs like a dream. tops out about 35mph or so.
After getting it going i have been looking everywhere for any sort of info on this bike. i have not really found anything. It has a Daelim 2 speed motor. I love this bike, if anyone has any info on this bike i would love to hear it. This winter im wanting to clean it up some, new tires, new chain, maybe a biturbo pipe, who knows.
