Thanks for the post about the Velosolex Route 66 ride for charity. I was looking at the http://www.velosolexamerica.com web site and all the details of this event. My uncle lives real close to the ride and has 2 Velosolex 4800 bikes. I sent him an e-mail with the link and they are going to join in for a bit of the ride. I think that anyone along the 2,266 mile ride with any type of moped should join in with this group of 20 riders from Holland. It says that there are various parties along the way and they are being followed by a television news crew. Every one on Moped Army should band together and really show them what a swarm of mopeds sounds like. I want to see 100+ mopeds on the news. Thank you Big Ass Motors for you post and I will spread the word on this great ride from Chicago to Santa Monica on the Pacific Coast, 2666 miles on their new Velosolex 4800 and it says the Velosolex S4800 can get 160 to 200mpg. That’s only 14 gallons of gas. My SUV would use 222 gallons. At least I have air conditioning.
