we’re working on getting the law changed here. i spoke at a city council meeting a few months ago and raised my concerns about this issue.
if you feel so inclined you might want to send seattle councilwoman sally clark an email (sally.clark@seattle.gov). she’s the only one that’s paying attention to this sort of thing right now. be friendly and let her know your concerns. if she hears from enough of us, things might change. she’s definitely on our side.
