Before buying a helmet, I strongly recommend reading thishttp://www.motorcyclistonline.com/gearbox/motorcycle_helmet_review/index.html.The people in this article are highly reputable and credible, more so than the people at Snell, IMO. They have been around since I started riding motorcycles. I have a copy of the original Hurt report. Bottom line, these people know what they are talking about. I recommend a DOT full face helmet that fits properly. Not only is it cheaper than a Snell rated helmet, but in 99% of crashes, offers better protection. Peace, Jerry.
