I can relate to your parents in one sense. I’ve ridden peds with my daughter but she want to ride a bigger machine. The difference is that she is 19. We’re in CA and she’s a legal adult. She took the written test and missed one question. In CA that means you can ride a motorcycle without a passenger and no night riding. I wish that she WOULD ride a ped. She had her first class today in the Motorcycle Safety course. She didn’t do well with a clutch. If it’s a big bike she wants, we’re going to do it right. I’m going to get her a used 175cc bike & teach her right.
