Actually, if you cut the pipe just before the muffler, so it still has a short piece of pipe on it, and rejet the carburetor to compensate for the lack of backpressure, you could run it like that. Properly jetted, it won’t be any faster, but it will make a LOT of noise, if thats what you’re after. Peace, Jerry.
