i bought a garelli supersport a couple of weeks ago for 50 bucks engine totally siezed. it looked like this thing had been sitting under a lake for the last year. i had to take a hammer to the cylinder to knock it off the case (broke a couple of fins in the process whoops). spider webs were everywhere including in the cylinder it was nuts. but i eventually got the head off and the crankshaft was not gonna move… took a screwdriver and “levered” it under the piston and finally got it moving. put some CLR in the case and moved it back and forth, back and forth. took a lot of time and work but i eventually got the thing running. CLR really worked wonders on the cylinder and crankshaft. i highly recommend it. seized engines can be a bitch to get working, but for 50 bucks i couldnt pass this thing up. after a lot of elbow grease she looks pretty good now. just need that polini kit to get here now…
