No, that’s true. If a hedgehog that can move faster than sound decideds to gitcha, there’s no stopping it.
However, a sea anemone doesn’t technically use spines. It uses what are known as cnidocytes , little cells that fire out poisonous spines. I think you’d be fine in a bullet proof vest, just wash the vest before you touch the spot it fired into.
