from every other site ive read recently it has stated that a longer pipe will work better down low… to me this makes sense. since the charge is leaving the cylinder, entering the pipe, and then reflecting back… a longer pipe is going to work better at low rpm when there is more time between each stroke. at high rpm it has less time to make it out and reflect back, so a shorter header pipe would be more ideal.
