Tomos rubber air filter cover

I bought a 1980 Tomos A3 that the cover was missing from the carb to the air box. I’m not sure if the previous owner cut the front of the air box off or not.
The outside diameter of the air box is !/1/8”
I have a 1985 Tomos that the inside diameter that would fit onto the air box is 7/8”.
Are the rubbers of different sizes for the two bikes?
