Can you imagine how awesome it would be to have 50 people all wearing heavy body armor riding around on mopeds in formation?

The amount of stuff that gets thrown, it may not be a bad idea.

I’m going to get body armor just so I can do that.

Also, Isn’t kevlar completely innefective against stabbing, and thus chewing? The vests that are intended to stop sharp things (darts, flechettes, and knives) have metal plates in them too, if I’m not mistaken. But I’m not 100% sure on that.
