A reasonable limit would be 5 or 6, beyond that it becomes very difficult to take care of them, unless you are talking about junk, in which case as many as you can hide from public view, if you live in town. I could pile 200 junk mopeds in my back yard, which has a high block wall around it, but I have no idea what I would do with them. I had to buy a storage shed just for the few I already have, to keep them out of the weather. It rains a lot here. A running moped either needs to be started up, warmed up, and ridden a few miles once a week to keep it from deteriorating. Otherwise, it needs to be properly prepped for long term storage, which is a long complicated procedure when done right, so you don’t want to do it if you have any plans to ride the moped in the near future.
