There is no problem running this stock unit at WOT all the time. Honda figured that that would be the way it would be ridden.

And when coming to a stop you can let the throttle close all the way. There is enough residual lubrication inside the engine so there will be no problem.

The only time you have to be concerned about lubrication is when you are riding down a l o n g steep hill at full speed with the throttle closed. When you are doing this you need to open the throttle periodically to get some oil into the engine.
