hi all I’am a bit full of myself right now, last week i sold my van and am now car free! I never thought I would want that but is refreshing I have owned over 75 cars in my brief life and still love them but mopeds are the way to go if you have a short ride to work. I have actually saved money due to less fuel burned and less maitence, even though i do most of my own work. Ins is WAY cheaper, I have a rough past dmv records wise, I ride the bus to work and walk or ride my mopeds or bicycle most places, the only thing I miss about a car/truck is going to the grocerystore, hard to lugg several bags home. I’am not riding the current “gree” fad but I guess I am reducing my carbon footprint, I already recycle all my beer cans, not to save the planet but because I’am cheap! LOL My gf has a car and we share fuel costs it is only right and I work on her car when it needs it. I guess my point is that life can be much cheaper if you really asses your needs/wants! best of luck to everyone here!
