When I broke in a new kit, I used about 40:1, with carquest oil…not the best at all. I don’t think brand of oil matters as much as these guys say it does, I just took it easy, about 3/4 throttle for about 250 miles. About a summer later, the bore looks amazing and does the piston and rings.
