Yeah, that’s another reason. Pedals mean you are riding a moped by choice, but pegs make it look like a wannabe motorcycle. If it has pegs, it will be seen as a wimpy little motorcycle by the general public, and while a lot of people today are to young to remember the good old days when mopeds were everywhere, they can at least tell it is something besides a wimpy little motorcycle, because motorcycles don’t have pedals.
