Man, there is a whole scooter subculture that is pretty much IDENTICAL to the moped army….the dudes that are into vintage scoots like Vespas and Lambrettas. Their community is pretty much a mirror image of this one. They build custom scoots, put kits on them and make them fast as hell, chop them up and make crazy rat bikes, have huge rallies. They also have their own crews/clubs/gangs/whatever (I am part of the Quad Cities Knuckle Draggers). We have fights about what is “acceptable” and who can join our clubs, who we want on our rides and at our rallies…...it’s the same shit everywhere. Bah.
If it has two wheels and it’s not a touring bike, a piece of crap chinese plastic scooter, or crotch rocket, I will probably think it’s sweet and want to ride it.
