The bottom line is this, if you wear body armor in public you will be viewed as a threat intent on committing an armed crime where you anticipate an armed response.
If you walked into a store where I was at the soda cooler and I saw you had a vest I’d ready my weapon. If you made me nervous I’d approach you, knock down and ask some serious questions with my knee in your back.
Moral of the story, don’t wear body armor unless you’re ready for the reprecussions.
