kreem coat (or other liner) a puch maxi

i’m picking up a newport frame that’s in great shape except for the fact that it has an extremely rusty tank. so i’m figuring:

*soak it with vinegar or coke or something for a few days
*kreem coat (or something similar)
*use a fuel filter

but my dilemma is, how do you kreem coat a newport tank? the guy who did my maxi tank did it by hanging it from a rope so he could twist it every which way . . . i don’t have a good point to hang it from though. does anyone have a good method?

also, does anyone have a tank liner they’d recommend over kreem? it’s hard as hell to work with
