You could try that.

The way you have it now when you ride with the choke on you are getting a signifcant less ammount of air than you would if you had it off. So, you were right.

With the choke off you are getting too much air and not enough gas. So you either need to restrict the Airflow signifcantly or get more gas into the chamber.

I have some jets coming in, but if you can pick them up from a place that sells Honda carb parts, do it.
