PUG owners???

I am just a week or two away from owning the roads on my ‘80 pug 102SP U3! Now I have recently looked at a lot of photos here and on flikr from the recent rallies, and I have to ask myself, “Self?” Do you know what you are getting yourself into? Am I going to be repairing this thing on a daily, weekly, monthly basis? And what is a soft seize? can I not coast down hill? Sorry, this is my first ped and I don’t want to ruin the thing. I am not really up on repairing it, I don’t mind figuring it out, but this is going to be my daily commuter to work which is 1 1/2 miles each way, and I work 5 days a week plus I will be doing some joy riding around. I am not a mechanic by any means, but I have fix several of my past cars with much success, so I am confident in my abilities but I guess I am asking if this is going to be a weekly repair job, cause if it is, I’d just rather not put up with it. Any help in this matter is appreciated. -Corpse
