Pretty sure the speed limit was 35…maybe 40. It’s a big 4 lane road. I waited until I had green lights and no traffic before I took off. Most people do 40+ on it though. Whenever I’m on my maxi that tops out in the mid to high 30s, people fly by me on that road.

Yeah, I felt pretty awful having to tell Rick I busted up his bike. Especially since it’s the one he’s been working on forever. He soldered in new wires for the light switch, fixed the exhaust mount, replaced the brake cable, and he was riding not too long later. I gave him a brand new headlight, and I have new magura controls I’m going to give him once I fish them out of my basement.

Reading about speed wobble is pretty interesting, but having it happen to you isn’t too fun.
