Chain lube

I just bought a can of Gunk chain lube spray, thinking it would be easy to apply with the little plastic straw that comes with it, and it has moly in it, but then I read the back label and it says “Not for motorcycles or other O-ring type chains.” I wonder if that’s the case with moped chain? Back when I had a motorcycle, I just put oil on it. Then when I got into serious bicycles, I found out they had special wax-based chain lube that doesn’t collect road dirt nearly as much. I tried some chainsaw bar & chain oil on my moped chain—it’s got something in it that makes it sticky so it stays on, but I’m wondering what really is best. Any thoughts?
