Um… excuse me? Do you want to try to make that any more rude or condescending? I don’t know what it was like back in the day when you were young, Gramps, but calling this a cry for lost attention from Daddy or a desire for spotlight is absolutely ridiculous.
Is it stupid to go to your local police office and say, “Yo, homies! You freaks are a bunch of dumbasses cuz you keep hasslin’ me, dawgs. I gots a shitload of questions, and I’m not leavin’ ‘till you tell me what all the answers are! And I don’t wanna be hassled no more after this, ya hear me now?!” Yes, that would be stupid.
Is it stupid to go to your local police office and say, “Excuse me, I ride a moped, but I’m unsure as to the exact regulations and laws regarding riding it. Is there anyone I can talk to who could clarify a few points for me?” No, that’s not stupid at all.
Although the title may have led you to believe the former, I believe Aqua has mentioned several times now that the point is to gain knowledge—as in, more along the lines of the latter than the former. I understand that some of you have had bad experiences with cops and are (perhaps rightfully so) wary of the long arm of the law. That’s cool, but not all cops everywhere deserve that stereotype. Trust Aqua to know her local cops and know how much they’ll take. Contrary to popular belief, us “kids” do have some common sense and intelligence. Got it?
