Would i be better off with a Puch or a Tomos?

I was going to buy a 1980 puch maxi, but the guy fucked me over. So, now i have to decide. Should i keep looking for a Puch maxi, or should i just buy a new Tomos, so i dont have to keep looking forever. The only thing i dont like is that the new Tomos have fucking stupid looking seats.
