Funny, huh? I came across an article, I think it was in the New York Times Magazine a year or two ago on Morrisey’s surprising at finding such a huge fan base in Mexico among otherwise macho guys who dress like him, adopt fey gestures, cop the surf pompadour and sing along to all his songs. This looks like a pop culture spill.
By the way, Exclaim sponsors one of the best pickup hockey tournaments in North America, not calibre-wise but because of the players: musicans, authors, artists, actors, comedians. So it might be members of Sloan and Blue Rodeo versus the Rheostatics and Bare Naked Ladies.
