Evapo-Rust Testing Take One. Pics!

So…. I tried the Evapo-Rust. I have tried every technique in the book. I have done them all. Except Evaporust. But people rave about it so:

Test One: Rusty Chain

BEFORE:


Sits in the solution, which is safe to touch, and has no odor, or vapor, and wont eat plastic or rubber or metal. So it says. Sounds like a miracle. But it also has the “as seen on TV” icon on it, and thats never a good sign.

But, a half hour later:

I am extremly empressed! Meratic acid would have etched the metal, and made it look all nasty. The evaporust really did an amazing job. If it really wont eat rubber or gaskets, this is an amazing product.

I paid $12 for 32oz. You can reuse it I guess as well, untill the solution is neutralized. So its a little pricy compared to the alternatives, but man it did a good job.
