The oil pump is inside the transmission between the primary drive and the crankcase and it feeds directly into the crankcase. The only way to check it is to either pull the top end off and crank it over manually (although I still probably wouldn’t be able to see it past the counterweight on the crank) or there’s a plug near the bottom of the crankcase I could pull, but I’d have to fill the bottom end of the crankcase with a lot of oil before it trails over and runs out the hole, and it would be such a minimal amount of oil coming through the pump it would be hard to tell if it’s coming from the pump or just residue from soaking the piston and cylinder while assembling the top end.

Either way, i’d have to crank it over manually to find out, and it just won’t pump enough oil to tell.

It’s one tricky bike.
