O/T; Puch 250 Twingle

Anyone know anything about the oil pumps on these? I just finished putting mine together and started it up for the first time in like 4 years tonight. I installed a new oil pump before I put the engine back together, but I don’t know how to check if it’s working properly. It’s adjusted where it needs to be, the oil line is primed at least up to where it goes into the case, and I started it up with some 32:1 premix in the gas tank (plus the oil in the tank.) It seemed to run fine, but not much smoke coming out the exhaust. When it ran before the rebuild, it bellowed smoke like a locomotive. I only replaced the oil pump because it was leaking 2 stroke oil into the transmission. There’s no reason it shouldn’t be working, but I just want to be extra sure before I start riding it.
