I like the idea of a shorter stiffer spring, cutting springs for a drop is ghetto, but it works at ride sacrifice. I’m guessing cutting the tube and stuffing the full spring inside would be the best. I got a nice stock Maxi fork for my Magnum which I plan to keep low, I’ll try out some stuff and hope I still get a decent ride. I was at Rigids house and he showed me a Maxi rigid fork…no springs, just like soiid piece of iron. I think MopedJunkyard has all the guts for rebuilding a Maxi fork, I think those pieces are guides….
