are you sure it’s 4 stroking? cold dense air = lean. 4 stroking is running too rich. if it is running lean, then you need to upjet, not downjet. simple test. when it starts to run bad, close the choke some. if the engine is running too lean, it will smooth out and run better. if the engine is running too rich, the condition will get worse. don’t start changing jets until you have done plug chops, did the simple test i just mentioned, and have a clue what you need to do.
