dont limit yourself so soon to the shoulder, there are advantages and disadvantages to it depending on the situation. you will learn when to use it and when to use the lane.

but browse through the picture section. the brands with lots of pictures are the more popular brands for a reason, they usually are good (or easy, or available) bikes. find a brand you like and ask about it.

newer tomos for reliability, puch (“pook”) for vintage easy cheap available bike.

keep in mind if you get something made before 2000, you will be fixing it regularly. (more often depending on age)
