As a Solex owner, I also highly recommend a Solex. And you can get used ones in good condition for way less than the price of a new one. Go to the Yahoo Group solexownersofamerica, and ask for Brian. When it comes to the Solex, he knows it all, and he’s also from NY. The one problem is that some Solexs can’t be registered in NY. The Solex has a top speed of 20 mph, and looks a lot like a bicycle.
