Well, I wouldn’t call myself a sneakerhead in the traditional sense, as I don’t really collect rare/desirable shoes, hell I don’t have that many shoes to really even call myself a collector.
My shoe interest stems from
1. My dedication to Mr. Jordan (I’ll show you the tat)
2. Getting shoes that I wore back in middle school
I don’t buy them and let them sit. I got this pair of OG Force 180’s (‘94 Barkleys) from a thrift store that I wear daily that are cracked and shit, but still baller as hell to me.
Speaking of middle school shoes, I really want some Air Penny II’s, I had them in 5th grade, and they’re one of my favorite shoes ever (the black/royal blue colorway), but the damn OG’s go for $200 on eBay . Supposedly the retro is coming out this fall. Whatever. OGs are where it’s at.
Yeah, I’ll be at Richmond. I’m bringing a pair of SBs and some Spizikes to hock alongside my moped parts at the flea market.
