I always wanted one when I was younger….like 14/15 but my parents wouldn’t let me. Once I moved out a few of my friends started seeing a few nopeds cruising around town and decided we were all going to buy them. I found a non-running, titled, FA50 for $50 and managed to get it running in a few hours….I never got it to go faster than 22mph but I had a ton of fun on it. Now I have a garage full of non-running mopeds and my baby, a Vespa 100 Sport. I got into vintage scooters last year….much more expensive, but I love the style.
