I tried to check it out, but the listing is gone from craigslist. If it looked like the pic Jim posted, it’s a real Harley. Sorta.

In 1960 Harley bought the majority share of Aermacchi in Italy, and didn’t sell out until the late ‘70’s. If you click on “M50” on this page, you’ll see the bike. Also check out the others. Some are pretty cool, and did fairly well racing in their day.
