that’s simply my point. i don’t see anything in print that says I have to call the bank myself. If i had seen that this would’ve never happened.
if the person at the bank had told me “oh well it’s in such and such form, section whatever. you must not have read it” then i would’ve kicked myself in the foot and bit the bullet. but to date i haven’t seen anything of that nature in print.
the police said they can’t file a report because the forms the bank sent don’t say “fraud”. i’m pretty sure the forms the bank sent are just put together by a computer so it just says: declined transaction was forced. amount charged to account. and then shows the details.
the cops said that doesn’t really mean much of anything to them.
