MK what you’re saying makes perfect sense and that’s exactly what the bank said. but my point is that it would have been good information to have before I ran the transaction. meaning it should say it in the manual/user guide.

all i knew is that for any transaction i put the information in the machine and it tells me if the transaction went through or not. in this case it came up fine.

if i need to know the details of how it works to prevent these types of things from happening then they should put an extra paragraph in the manual/user guide to ensure that these types of confusions don’t occur.

also, i checked his ID before running it.

first thing we did was call the bank then they said call the police and they said call the bank.
